I'm going for clean, whites, neutrals, and comfy.
It's hard trying to base the decor for our apartment off the furniture we currently have bc it's not really our style.. but free is better than our style amirite???

Totally understand wanting the free stuff! All my furniture in my first post-college apartment was hand me downs! Then after that, everything that wasn’t a hand-me-down was a gift from my parents. I actually just bought my first piece of furniture that wasn’t an accent piece or end/side table from a discount store at the beginning of this year! Nearly 12 years post college haha!
